We have an exciting opportunity to join the neuro physiotherapy band 6 rotations at Northwick Park Hospital, with opportunities also at Ealing Hospital and with our Early Supported Discharge team.  

 

Further opportunities exist to develop the rotations including neuro caseloads based at other trust sites.  As a multi-site trust, you will be required to work on all sites as part of your employment.

 

Main duties of the job

The rotations include:

 

·       The Regional Hyperacute Rehabilitation level 1 Unit serving patients with complex neurological disability.

·       A dynamic interdisciplinary Neurological Rehabilitation Service for acute neurological inpatients.  Treating a wide variety of conditions including head injury, stroke, spinal injury, MS & PD.

·       Neuro outpatients.

·       An award winning stroke service including Hyper Acute stroke, Acute stroke rehab and Stroke ESD.

 

The post will allow you to develop your therapeutic, interdisciplinary and management skills.  There is a high level of clinical support from highly specialist senior therapists, with a wide range of experience and knowledge across all areas.
