This role supports the Cooperate function at North Middlesex Hospital Health Unit. The post holder will be expected to work at North Middlesex Hospital up to 1-2 days a week in addition to working across sites operated by the Royal Free Group

Reporting to the Director of People and Culture (North Mid), there will be close links with the hospital business unit leadership teams.

Education & Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level
- Educated to Master level or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience
- Chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development;
- Evidence of Continuous professional development
- Workforce planning experience
- Qualified in Psychometric Testing to BPS Level A & B (intermediate) Leve
Desirable criteria
- Accredited qualification in mediation
Skills & Experience
Essential criteria
- In-depth knowledge and experience of working within a HR Business Partner model
- Substantial HR generalist experience including change management and employee relations in a complex, multi - site unionised environment
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage a team
- Sound IT skills in word processing, spread -sheet, presentation and email software.
- Experience of HR management in a unionised environment, including well - developed negotiation skills
- Substantial knowledge and experience of advising managers on handling complex and sensitive issues
- Able to write good quality notes and reports for senior managers and as part of formal proceedings
Desirable criteria
- Proven NHS experience and knowledge
