Band 8b Lead Pharmacist
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mental Health Pharmacist to join our established, friendly, and dynamic clinical pharmacy team.
South London and the Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust provides the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK. We are a world leading Trust in research, working closely with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London. Our services include the Maudsley Hospital, Lambeth Hospital, Bethlem Royal Hospital and Lewisham Hospital. We are also part of King’s Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre.
The Pharmacy department provides a wide range of clinical pharmacy services. As part of the senior management team, you will be responsible for in-patient, out-patient and community services at the Maudsley Hospital site. The post-holder will also be expected to participate in the department’s programme for research, teaching and quality improvement.
We are looking for an experienced mental health pharmacist with good clinical knowledge and communication skills, with a Masters degree in pharmacy (or equivalent) and a post graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy.

About the location:
Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2). We also provide services and operate across other locations, such as London boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; and substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Lambeth, Greenwich and Wandsworth.
