An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Programme Administrator to join the Dental Education team to support our successful BSc in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy.
Applicants will have a strong background within administration, with relevant knowledge of healthcare/NHS, undergraduate and post graduate education. You will need to be extremely customer focused, confident, organised, and enthusiastic team player
Main duties of the job
Able to maintain extensive databases, monitor and report on quality assurance, support trainees and administrate educational programmes by working closely with the respective student representatives, tutors, course leads and other members of the support team. He/she will have exceptional organisational and inter-personal skills and will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high quality programme and examination delivery.

Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree and/or an appropriate professional qualification or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of MS packages (including Teams)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous managerial experience in a large and complex organisation preferably within the NHS.
- Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of current issues and practices within the NHS and Education
- Proven experience in effective management of budget.
Desirable criteria
- A proven record of success in managing change while also developing and maintaining high standards of quality.
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Quality focussed with an innovative approach and the ability to solve complex problems.
- A strong understanding of multi-disciplinary issues and commitment to multi-disciplinary working.
- Excellent IT skills.
- An understanding of quality assurance and student reporting within education.
