Trosolwg o'r swydd
This important role will lead the clinical services agenda within the Pharmacy department at LNWUH. The postholder will directly deputise for the Principal Pharmacist, Clinical Services whilst actively promoting the pharmacy clinical services across the three sites at the Trust to promote patient safety, education and training of our staff and drive service improvements. The postholder will be required to work closely and collaboratively with the other Lead Pharmacists at the Trust to support medicines optimisation strategy and promote an effective service. The individual will also be responsible for managing the cross site senior rotational pharmacist programme including rotation allocations and staffing gaps. The postholder will need to have proven extensive experience secondary care pharmacy services and managing a team of staff.
The role requires someone who is comfortable working in different settings across the Trust and region, and engaging with a variety of different stakeholders.

Leads on the development, monitoring and review of key performance indicators to describe the clinical pharmacy service provided by clinical pharmacists within the Trust. To work with the Principal Pharmacist, Clinical Services to develop the clinical pharmacy service in line with the needs of the Trust and to meet the Pharmacy vision.
Ensures the provision of a high quality, safe and cost-effective clinical pharmacy service which integrates with partner organisations across North West London.
The role will work closely with Pharmacy leads for Education and Training, Medication Safety and Operations at all hospital sites.
