Job overview

To work with a team of radiologists, radiographers and ancillary staff providinge a safe and efficient radiology service 7 days a week.

Including X-ray, Dexa and CT scanning. Maintaing a high radiographic standard along with a first-rate standard of patient care.

Main duties of the job

Work on a rota system through x-ray, CT and Dexa scanning. Administration of cannulas and I.V. contrast media.

Comply with the ionizing Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (2000).

  • HCPC registration

  • Evidence of study days and courses

Knowledge & Expierience

  • Expierience of variety of radiology modalities
  • Working knowledge of general aspects of radiology
  • Understanding of IRMER principles
Desirable criteria
  • Teaching and training of students and other radiology staff
