Assistant Clinical Physiologist (Neurophysiology)

Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join the Neurophysiology team based within the Manchester Royal Infirmary.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
You must be friendly and hardworking and have excellent communication skills. The man duties of post are assisting patients undergoing neurophysiological investigations. You will be physically fit and able to work under the instruction of qualified staff. Previous experience in a health care environment is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given.
Main duties of the job
Prepare and maintain environment and equipment for recording Neurophysiological procedures.
Support to Medical Personnel and Clinical Physiologists within the department and on wards (incl ITU/NICU).
Chaperone and support adult and paediatric patients prior to and during clinic attendance, including assistance with individual patient needs.
Work efficiently with HIVE/EPIC in support to the Administrative team.
Communicate well in person, via email or telephone in response to queries from patients and colleagues.
Adhere to department and trust policies.
