Consultant Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Seeking to appoint a consultant in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery with a specialist head and neck oncology and reconstructive interest.  This new post is to join a team of three other head and neck oncology and reconstruction surgeons based on the Oxford Road Campus (Manchester Royal Infirmary) site.  This is to be the hub of head and neck cancer services for the population of Greater Manchester of 3.5 million and will involve close working with the Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons on the North and South Manchester sites.  The successful applicant will join the four other non-oncology consultants on the Oxford Road Campus and the four Maxillofacial surgeons in South Manchester on a rota that is currently 1 in 11 with additional micro vascular commitments.  The unit covers the regional trauma centre and has close working relationships with multiple medical hospitals throughout great Manchester and the University Dental Hospital of Manchester.
