Job overview
We are looking to recruit to complement our already excellent team of Band 7 Sisters/Charge Nurses to take an excellent team of Emergency Nurses into our new purpose built Emergency Department.
We provide all staff with educational development through our departmental education team and promote an active coaching environment for all staff.
We also provide a Band 7 development package for new staff within the Emergency Department.
Main duties of the job
Are you an experienced Emergency Department Nurse looking to develop yourself within a senior sister role, do you have experience as a Band 6 Nurse within ED, are you committed to providing excellent patient care within a busy department working within local and national targets, do you have excellent communication skills and good time management skills along with the ability to work in a well established and dynamic team, if so then this may be the job for you.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
You will be expected to work on a rotational shift pattern to ensure we provide 24 hour senior nurse cover to the department and also as part of your role support the Matrons in meting the national 4 hour targets and also ambulance turnaround times as well as providing a good quality patient experience and excellent patient care.
The work-load throughout the department is very varied and interesting with no two days being the same. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, a high sense of professionalism and a strong belief in the value of teamwork.
