Recovery College Administrator - Part Time - 15 hours per week. Fixed Term until 31/03/26.

Do you have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail? Can you effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities whilst maintaining a strong degree of confidentiality? The Recovery College is looking for a professional, conscientious, calm and confident person join us part time! 

This role will be supporting the wider team to provide educational courses across the trust.  This will involve working closely with professionals and the general public.  Working with different electronic systems to maintain information.  This role will offer a variety of tasks, from processing student registrations/queries, making/receiving phone calls, updating records, minute taking and general admin support to the clinical teams. We are a friendly and welcoming team!

There can be a blend of office and home working. Generally the team come together in-person at least quarterly for 'away-days' [rotating around Norfolk/Suffolk]. The team can work in offices/locations across the trust footprint or from home but must be available to come into the offices as required. Our main team location in terms of office space is County Hall in Norwich and Hospital Road Bury St Edmunds but there is also potential to work from Mariner House in Ipswich if working from home is not for you.  

Main duties of the job

  • Previous administration experience is essential.
  • Full training/orientation will be given for this role.
  • You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems.
  • You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively.
  • Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining strict confidentiality are also essential. 

Essential criteria:

  • Use of ICT applications/packages.
  • Experience of working in a busy team.
  • Taking and processing registrations via phone and online and extensive knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
  • Dealing efficiently and politely with both internal and external customers in a confidential and confident manner.
  • Professional exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with a dedication to confidentiality are essential.
