Job overview

Fleet Driver – Alfreton

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fleet Driver to join our team based in Alfreton.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), working on a three-week rotating shift pattern (07:00–17:00), including one weekend in every three.

As a Fleet Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting frontline operations by ensuring Trust vehicles are safely and efficiently transported between Ambulance Stations, Fleet Workshops, and third-party service providers. Your work directly contributes to keeping our fleet operational and available for emergency crews, helping to deliver critical care to patients across the region.

If you're a reliable, safety-conscious driver who takes pride in supporting essential healthcare services, we’d love to hear from you.

Applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence (minor speeding offences may be considered) and possess Category C1 entitlement on the newer style licence.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for  dependable and self-motivated individuals with a flexible approach to both working hours and duties. Applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence (minor speeding offences may be considered) and possess Category C1 entitlement on the newer style licence.

You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a high level of reliability. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, particularly within a fleet or logistics environment.

Working for our organisation
