 The role of the NRC Health Care Assistant is integral to the patient journey and interdisciplinary team. This role helps to support the team in providing high quality, safe, compassionate and efficient care, in an innovative way. If you were successful, you would become a key part of shaping the service going forwards and paving the future of rehabilitation in the UK.

Planning for the NRC is in its advanced stages, and the building will be ready in the summer of 2025. This role will be temporarily based at our current unit Linden Lodge at City Hospital until we move to the 70 bed NRC facility in summer 2025.

Essential criteria
  • Basic GCSE and/or Vocational qualification at Level 2 or equivalent relevant experience

  • Completed care certificate

Knowledge & Experience

  • Knowledge of personal care and related procedures

  • Previous experience in a health / social care setting or customer facing experience

Communication and Relationship Skills

  • Demonstrate clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrate Computer literacy & use of IT skills – e.g. e-mail
