We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic audiologist to join our team. Our Audiology department is large and forward thinking. It offers opportunities for development at all levels together with a wide clinical experience.

The successful applicant will be expected to work across both our adult and paediatric audiology services, including one or more complex adult clinic, the exact job role will depend on the experience of the applicant. However, we are particularly interested in candidates with some experience in paediatric assessment and management.
Our main base is at Ropewalk House in the city centre and with our other centre being based at Queen's Medical Centre campus, the role will be based across both.

Person specification
Training & Qualifications
Essential criteria
- BSc Audiology or equivalent
- Registered with RCCP/HCPC/AHCS
- Evidence of training in specialist area
Desirable criteria
- MSc in Audiology
- STP in Audiology
- Eligible for HTS training (specifies BAA membership)
- Leadership qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience with complex adult patients
- Experience in paediatric audiology
Desirable criteria
- Experience of service improvement
- Experience of training others
Communication & Relationships
Essential criteria
- Evidence of delivering complex findings to patients and carers
- Excellent written communication skills
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of leadership experience, e.g. leading a project/audit
- Evidence of presenting to peers/colleagues
Analytical & Judgement skills
Essential criteria
- Involvement in complex clinics and analysis/interpretation of a variety of results
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of involvement in quality assurance activities
