An opportunity has arisen for a Fleet Driver to join our team in Lincolnshire
With a flexible approach to both hours and duties, applicants must have a full clean driving licence (minor speeding offences may be considered), with category C1 – new style licence. You must be reliable and have the ability to work without supervision. Relevant previous work experience would be an advantage.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the role includes driving Trust vehicles to and from Ambulance Stations, fleet workshops and 3rd party providers. You will also be required to deliver parts/consumables around Lincolnshire, the wider organisation and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- To carry out driving duties on behalf of the trust, moving trust vehicles primarily within the trust boundaries but occasionally beyond these.
- To collect and deliver parts, tools, medical equipment and drug wraps and other items as requested to assist in day to day service delivery.
- To adhere to trust values.
- To ensure cleanliness and roadworthiness of vehicles used within role where appropriate.
- To adopt a flexible approach in response to operational needs regarding duties, base/location and hours of work.
- To maintain a level of fitness in accordance with role and attend any medical assessments to enable the post holder to safely carry out the duties post.
- To keep informed and abreast of current trends and developments within the Trust and nationally.
- To maintain personal development and competency.
- To undertake any other duties as requested.
- Will be responsible for personal professional development – continuous.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
