Job overview
· Lead on a comprehensive clerical, administrative and secretarial support service to support the Commissioning Team function.
· Responsible for organising meetings, preparing papers, taking minutes and progressing actions to ensure the objectives of the team are met.
· Provide support for a range of tasks within the Commissioning Team such as managing the Referral Management process, validation of waiting lists, invoices, Integrated Quality and Performance Framework (IQPF) processes, Individual Patient Funding Requests (IPFR), Prior Approval Requests, Third Sector and other Healthcare agreements.
· Establish strong links with colleagues across the Health Board and with those providing services to patients both in and outside Powys.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Educated to NVQ3 or equivalent
- Knowledge of any specialist functions or policies/procedures
- Deal with non-routine issues such as problem solving overall
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite, and information systems and databases
- Thorough understanding of administrative procedures
- Awareness of policies and procedures relating to managing confidential data both personal and organisational
- Working knowledge of filing/data systems including records management
Experience
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable proven experience of working in a similar role
- Management of confidential/sensitive information and appropriate maintenance and storage of records
- Dealing with members of the public and with staff at all levels
- Formal minute taking
- MS Office keyboard skills with ability to produce reports, spreadsheets and correspondence
Desirable criteria
- Working in an NHS environment
