Job overview
To perform basic and complex, cardiac investigative procedures on routine and emergency outpatients and inpatients for all Divisions within Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust using best current practice and to local and national standards.
Main duties of the job
Procedures undertaken are dependent upon the site; to include supervision and reporting of Exercise Stress Tests, Tilt-Testing procedures, pressure measurement during cardiac catheterisation, pacemaker implant and follow-up procedures, ambulatory electrocardiography (both 24Hr and Patient-activated), ambulatory Blood Pressure monitoring,

Qualifications & Training

- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification
- Voluntary Registration held with the Academy of Healthcare Science (AHCS)
Desirable criteria
- BHRS/IBHRE or equivalent.
