Job overview
- To provide technical support to Pharmacy Clinical Research service and the wider Clinical Research Team with the aim of providing safe management of clinical researches within the hospital.
- To participate in the training and development activities of the Division as appropriate.
Main duties of the job
- To apply principles of GCP in the management of clinical research activities and work within the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and EU directive relating to clinical researches.
- To provide dispensing support to the Pharmacy Clinical Research service and to support medicines management activities of the clinical research IMPs.
- To participate in the provision of an efficient Pharmacy Service to the Trust by developing and maintaining the necessary validations for your assigned duties.
- To participate in the training and development activities of the Division as appropriate.

- Basic keyboard skills
- Good numeric and literacy skills.

- Hospital or community pharmacy experience
Qualifications & Training
Essential criteria
- 3 GCSE’s including Science, Maths and English language at Grade C or above or equivalent qualification/relevant experience.
Desirable criteria
- BTEC Level 2 Pharmaceutical Science
- NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Service Skills or equivalent
- 2 GCSE Science at Grade C or above
- ECDL
