Job overview

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Grant & Quality Lead who will form part of the Research and Innovation Team which is part of the Education and Research Directorate at DBTH.

The post will be instrumental in supporting and growing research activity by leading on research governance and ensuring regulatory compliance at all times.  This post will be integral in growing our capabilities to sponsor and deliver different types of research across DBTH.  The post holder will provide bespoke support and advice for our Clinical Academics and working closely with our external partners to grow our Research pipeline particularly in areas of strategic importance.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as a skilled and effective member of both the Research & Innovation leadership team and as part of the wider multidisciplinary team, to promote and support DBTH-led research and innovation.  Working across professional boundaries, the post holder will provide expert advice and support to Trust investigators, liaise with external organisations to develop robust research teams, submit competitive grant applications and also increase the Trust’s research skills, knowledge and capacity base, via supporting and leading (as appropriate) the delivery of the Trust’s Research and Innovation Strategy.
