Job overview

Fixed Term: 12 months | 22.5hrs per week | Hybrid

We are looking for someone to join our centralised administrative team supporting the 0-19 Service. You will help to ensure the smooth running of clerical operations, providing confidential and efficient support to clinical staff and service users.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is educated to GCSE level or with equivalent experience.

  • Has some experience in office or administrative work, with IT skills

  • Has great customer service skills and is confident communicating with others.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handle telephone enquiries in a contact centre setting.

  • Book appointments and manage rotas using Systm One.

  • Provide admin support to clinical staff including scanning, letter generation, and data input.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, including clinical documentation.

  • Communicate with professionals such as GPs, midwives, social workers, and interpreter services.

  • Manage stock levels and order stationery.

  • Participate in team meetings and personal development activities.

Essential criteria
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience
  • NVQ II or equivalent level of knowledge and/or experience in relevant areas
Desirable criteria
  • RSAI/II in typing/word processing
  • ECDL
