Job overview

Permanent | Full-time

Join our Pharmacy Clinical Trials Team, where we are dedicated to supporting Sheffield Children's rapidly expanding Research and Innovation Clinical Trials portfolio!

You will help deliver high-quality pharmacy services for clinical trials involving Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs), working with multidisciplinary teams across the Trust.

About You:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Senior Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the daily delivery of the Pharmacy Clinical Trials Service, ensuring safe dispensing of clinical trial medications in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), operating within the Pharmacy Clinical Trials Dispensary and Pharmacy Aseptic Unit.

  • Collaborate with research staff, clinical trial investigators, and sponsors during the set-up and ongoing maintenance of clinical trials.

  • Work as an accredited checking technician to maintain standards of accuracy and safety.
