Job overview
The successful applicant will provide full administrative support to our School Based Need Team (SBN).
The School Based Need team consists of Primary Mental Health worker and Mental Health Support Teams in schools (MHSTs) and they share one admin team.
To support the development of our School Based Need Service in Surrey, we are looking to recruit a team Administrator to provide comprehensive, professional, and effective administrative support.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role include: managing a busy email inbox, containing referrals and letter requests, booking of rooms, answering and directing phone calls and emails, plus any other administrative duties.
You will also be required to work on your own initiative, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to help others as a key member of a developing team. Therefore, the ability to build effective relationships, with a flexible approach to work is essential.
You will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in order to fulfil the requirements of the post. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of building and growing innovative service.

Essential criteria
- Good standard of general education to include 5 GCSE (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Basic Excel and Outlook
- Experience of office / administrative work
- Experience of communication effectively at all levels with a variety of contacts
- Good working knowledge of Data Protection and confidentiality
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
