Job overview
An Exciting opportunity has arisen within our Emergency Department for the position of a Band 7 ED Senior Sister/Charge Nurse post
You would be part of an Outstanding Organization that works closely with its partner agencies to ensure that high standards of acute care are received by our Local Community.
Our Department is at the forefront of Emergency Care, delivering optimum services for trauma patients and CVA pathways, as well as other emergencies.
Successful applicants will have relevant experience as a Band 6 Sister within Emergency Nursing; you should possess a wide range of appropriate clinical skills and have a keen interest further developing your Management skills.
You will be part of a Senior Team which will be supporting the Emergency Head of Nursing Emergency Care Department (HON) and Matron in delivering optimum care to our community to ensure the Trust values and beliefs are adhered to. This will include having a firm understanding of local and national initiatives in order to assist the team meet the Emergency Care four hour standard.
