We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Executive Team as Interim Chief Finance Officer. This is a pivotal role at the heart of our Trust’s strategic and operational leadership, offering the opportunity to shape financial sustainability and drive transformation across our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and assurance to the Board.
  • Lead the development and delivery of multi-year financial strategies and cost improvement programmes.
  • Champion financial governance, stewardship, and performance across the Trust.
  • Collaborate with ICS partners to support system-wide sustainability and innovation.
  • Inspire and develop high-performing teams through visible, compassionate leadership.

Our Trust provides emergency and non-emergency care across East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon, serving key towns including Crawley, Horsham, Reigate, and Redhill. Our main site, East Surrey Hospital in Redhill, offers a full range of acute and complex services and is the nearest trauma unit to Gatwick Airport.

We also provide outpatient, diagnostic, and planned services at several sites, including The Earlswood Centre, Caterham Dene Hospital, Oxted Health Centre, Crawley Hospital, and Horsham Hospital.
