Job overview
We have an opportunity to collaborate and coordinate the Maternity Mental Health provision within the Maternity Service. You will act as a source of expertise to all staff on Perinatal Mental Health issues including the provision of statutory and mandatory training.
You will play a highly visible role, raising the profile of Perinatal Mental Health within the Maternity Service. As a first point of contact, you will provide a high quality service of Perinatal Mental Health advice, support, guidance and education to the multi-professional teams of staff employed by Surrey & Sussex Healthcare. You will facilitate and develop care pathways in relation to women with low, moderate and high risk mental health conditions, and support midwives and obstetricians to deliver care in line with these pathways. You will co-lead on providing and evaluating a programme of Perinatal Mental Health training in accordance with the Trust Training Strategy.
