Acute / Urgent Care - Nursing Career Development Post

NHS AfC: Band 5

We’re a large NHS Mental Health Trust in South East England. We’re looking for people to help us provide high quality services for the patients, carers and local communities we serve.

We want patients and staff to recommend our organisation as a place where they would be happy for their friends and family to be treated. You can help us do this by bringing your skills, experience and commitment to Sussex Partnership.

A unique opportunity has arisen within the award winning Acute/Urgent care pathway in Hastings at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The areas involved will include Male and Female Acute wards, Urgent care lounge, Liaison, CRHT & Specialist Older people’s Inpatient services. We are looking for a qualified nurse looking for a varied experience, fast progression & career development. This post will give you the opportunity to work across inpatient and urgent care, working age and older peoples services in Hastings, gain a real insight in to the unique joined up way in which we work and the opportunity then to decide where your passion lies.

We are running a number of local Quality Improvement program projects which involve innovative ways to improve the patient journey through the care pathway.  These teams welcome new ideas & forward thinking individuals to take part in or run future QI projects in order to improve the services we offer our clients.  All applicants will be encouraged to take an active part in these improvement works.

This post is available for all band 5/6’s.

We are the local health provider of choice & can provide each applicant with up to date training in each area & supervision support/mentoring.  A relocation package is available if moving from another area or a golden handshake if moving from another trust of private employer.

Hastings is a beautiful seaside town with better than the national average house prices & quality schools & amenities. You have the luxury of the seaside at your door and the amazing South Downs over your shoulder.

Come & join these award winning teams & follow us on Twitter @withoutstigma
