Job overview

The role  requires the post holder to be involved in the delivery of  a variety of Occupational Health tasks which aims to promote health, safety and well being among all our staff.

This role is a case management role doing up to 5 cases per day - management referrals or PPQ clearances.

we would consider hybrid working for this role. 

Main duties of the job

The role will be predominantly case management but it will also consist of pre-employment assessments.  you will be participating in the reduction and management of presenteeism and absenteeism, delivering  and promoting the health and well being strategy and working collaboratively with key personnel such as managers, HR, psychological services, OH physician, physiotherapists and other available services that our staff can access via Occupational Health. 

As a qualified  OH Advisor you will be required to work autonomously but you will be working within a friendly, enthusiastic, helpful in house multi disciplinary team and you will be fully supported at all times.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The Trust is proud of its commitment to the health and well being of all its employees. To support our service further, we are excited to recruit an OH Advisor on a full time basis. The OH Advisor will be required to work within the in house service/dept, managing a diary case load of approx 5 management referrals per day (or the equivalent). We pride ourselves on quality and therefore offer a one hour appointment to undertake a management referral to ensure the assessment and report is of a high quality.
