Band 5 Practice Nurse – Developmental Role (Part-Time, 3 Days/Week)

Are you a newly qualified or early-career nurse looking to develop your skills in a supportive, patient-centred general practice environment?

We are a small, friendly NHS GP practice offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse to join us as a Band 5 Practice Nurse. This is a developmental role ideal for a newly qualified nurse or someone early in their nursing career, who is keen to pursue a career in primary care.

About the Role:

You will work three days per week, with one day dedicated to training initially. As your confidence and competencies grow, your role will expand, with salary progression reflecting your increased scope of practice. You’ll be supported every step of the way by our experienced clinicians and practice team.

  • registered nurse (NMC Pin required) – newly qualified nurses welcome.
  • Enthusiasm to develop skills in general practice nursing.

  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-centred approach.
