This is a fixed term post for 1 year due to  funding. 

If you are an Public Health Wales Board employee this post will only be offered on a secondment basis and you will need to have gained your line managers approval for the secondment prior to going to interview.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to work for Food Sense Wales. Food Sense Wales is a charitable fund influencing how food is produced and consumed in Wales to ensure everyone has access to healthy and sustainable food. It is hosted within the Cardiff and Vale Public Health team and the Cardiff and Vale Health Charity.

This is a key supporting role to the effective running of the growing Food Sense Wales team, contributing to the co-ordinating and delegating of work and ensuring consistency with the agreed work plan.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering financial and administrative support to the Food Sense Wales team including  personal assistant (PA) and administrative support to the Food Sense Wales Programme Manager . The post holder will have experience of working within a busy support team and be confident with providing financial and administrative support , including organizing meetings and events and taking minutes. The post holder will have excellent personal and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
