THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR UNTIL 31/03/2023  TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE

Health Boards in Wales have increased the number of Intensive Care beds in anticipation of increased demand during the COVID 19 pandemic.  One of the impacts of this expansion of Intensive Care capacity is an increase in the number of continuous infusions of medicines needed to support patients.  As part of the planning to manage the COVID 19 crisis, a new Temporary Medicines Unit is being set up to manufacture infusions for in tensive care units throughout Wales.  The service will be operated from a new aseptic unit at the NHS Wales support services hub at Imperial Park, between Cardiff and Newport.

We are looking for Senior Assistant Technical Officers with experience in pharmacy production.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
