Job overview

We are seeking an experienced RMN as a Clinical Team Leader to join the Electro-Convulsive (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Team at St Ann's Hospital. 

This is a leadership role with great opportunities to demonstrate your knowledge and abilities, and learning new skills as we continue to develop these services and provide essential treatment to service users.

 

 

Main duties of the job

The post holder, an experienced mental health nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will be responsible for supporting the delivery of ECT and TMS.

They will work closely with the ECT/TMS team in the provision of Electroconvolsive Therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.  They will work collaboratively with the ward teams, GPs and consultants to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.

They will support and carry out where required history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.  They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients.

They will be involved in the running of the ECT and TMS service at St Ann’s Hospital.
