Job overview

An Opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our team on the Children’s Unit.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic staff with a passion to work with children and their families.

The Children's Unit consists of 21 inpatient beds including 1 High Dependency bed.

We also have 5 Assessment unit beds, 8 medical/surgical day case beds and 1 Oncology beds.

 

This post is fixed term for 12 months due to meet the needs of the service

 

 

Main duties of the job

To assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver based care to patients/clients, working in  partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers.
To deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan.

To Carry out a wide range of duties under the supervision of a registered nurse for the period of the shift. 

 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
