Camden RAS covers the entire borough of Camden, this role is predominantly for Urgent Community Response however you maybe asked to cross cover the Virtual ward on occasion.  Our overall aim is to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions, as part of the NHS Long term plan. The benefits of keeping patients in their own homes are numerous and varied, from reducing Healthcare Acquired Infections, to promoting ongoing independence.

As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.
