Logistics Operative

Band 2 - 37.5 Hours per week

Working as a Logistics Operative within the logistics Team, you will be responsible for varied roles within the department including the delivery and collection of post, stores, linen and movement of stores throughout the site and externally to trust partners, as well as the internal and external movement of waste.

The role requires a punctual, hardworking and friendly individual with a positive team based can do attitude.

Please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role is unfortunately not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £25,000 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Facilities, to join our Logistics Team as a Logistics Operative.

Your role will be varied and include collecting and delivering samples from pharmacies, post and supplies to and from healthcare facilities across the North West.

Deliver goods and linen throughout the hospital site.

Removing waste across the site, both internally and externally.

The movement of stores to and from the Trust from Community partner sites.
