This is an exciting opportunity to build upon the success of the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Public Health Dietetic team and lead projects co-designed with communities and key stakeholders.

This bank worker will lead the roll out of a range of nutrition based interventions to support population health and report back to Nutrition and Dietetic services, as well as a range of stakeholders.

If your strengths are communication, organisation, logical thinking and problem solving, and you have the ability translate evidence based clinical practice into everyday supportive and practical food messages, this could be the post for you.

Vacancy base to be confirmed with working from home and flexible hours available to meet service needs.

Full time and part time hours will be considered.

 

Main duties of the job

This bank worker will be responsible for the co-design and evaluation of a range of nutrition based interventions. Working with multiagency stakeholders and target populations to deliver services that best meet service user needs.

 They will be responsible for the development of monthly, quarterly and annual service reports as well as the leadership of a small delivery team and admin resource

Qualifications and/or Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • BSc. Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent. Evidence of clinical supervision. Evidence of or qualification in research and audit. Health and Care Professions Council registration (HCPC). Evidence of professional development. Understanding of professional ethics and their application in practice. Detailed specialist knowledge of public health interventions, policies and practices MSc or its equivalent level of knowledge and advanced post graduate training/experience in specialist clinical dietetics.

Experience

  • Experience at a senior level across a variety of settings Considerable experience with dietetic delivery of community interventions Demonstrates evidence based specialist public health knowledge.
