Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the radiology directorate at Aneurin Bevan University Health board as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Service Coordinator. The IR Service Coordinator will be responsible for providing a high standard of administrative support to ensure the effective operational delivery of the service.
The post holder will work closely with the clinical staff to meet the evolving demands of the service, providing a calm and organised approach to completing multiple tasks and deadlines. They will be responsible for various administrative functions to ensure a seamless and high quality service is delivered for our patients.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the radiology directorate and will provide support in the proactive management of the patient pathway managing the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of inpatient, outpatient and pre-admission appointments. The post holder will provide administrative and secretarial support to the clinical team and ensure smooth and efficient communication across departments to facilitate service delivery.e
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The post holder will need to be highly motivated, have a flexible approach to work and possess good organisational skills, plus be able to demonstrate excellent IT proficiency.
