Job overview
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Catering Team at Silver Birch ward, who will be responsible for catering for all our patient .
Silver Birch is an 18 bedded ward caring for patients with a dementia diagnosis, therefore food will be served to this group of patients.
Previous experience of working within a catering environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
We have in-house training to help your personal development plans and will support you with all of your training needs.
Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.

Main duties of the job
Facilities Assistant - Catering should have the ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.
Part time 1 - 25 hours per week Shifts are Mon - Fri 08:00am - 13:00pm Part time 2 - 25 hours per week Shifts are Sat - Sun 08:00am - 13:00pm and Fri - Sun 14:00 - 19:00pm including bank holidays

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To support the Catering Department which provides high quality, safe and nutritious food for patients, staff. Specifically undertaking catering responsibilities as detailed in the Job Description following task schedules, method statements and procedures.
The successful applicant will be required to cover other areas when needed. The ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.
