This post is for Bank for fully trained CT Radiographers only and employed by UHNM Trust 

The CT scanning department currently has nine state of the art CT scanners providing support to a wide range of referrers, including  the level 1 Major Trauma centre, Vascular and Neuro intervention, Paediatric , Musculo skeletal, and Oncology services. 

Being part of the University Hospital of North Midlands brings with it the opportunity to  contributing to the training of student Radiographers on their clinical placement and of CT Radiographers on Band 5/6 preceptorship.

Main duties of the job

Your day to day role would include:

  • Performing high-quality CT  scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort
  •  Keeping up-to-date with the latest CT  techniques and protocols
  •  Efficient and effective running of the CT lists, ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to provide a safe and efficient environment for the patient • Participate in the supervision of student Radiographers and training of CT Radiographers on Band 5/6 preceptorship  • Maintaining good working relationships with all Departments • Be proactive and keen to fulfil the responsibilities of the Band 6 role as in the Job Description.
