The department is fully UKAS accredited and is also accredited by the HCPC/IBMS as a training laboratory. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a very busy department dedicated to providing the highest quality, patient centred service.

The post holder is expected to utilise knowledge & skills to be able to manage their own daily assigned workload efficiently and effectively, with reference to Departmental SOPs and Policies. We are looking for people who see opportunities, explore the potential and recognise that behind every sample is a real person. If you're someone who inspires those around you and is a true 'team player', we want to hear from you!

It should be noted that this is a non-rotational post and that the Non-Automated Section currently only operates during core hours Monday-Friday. These working arrangements may be subject to future review.
