Job overview
Cheshire East Family Nurse Partnership is looking to recruit two band 7 Family Nurses.
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered Nurse, Midwife or Health Visitor who is interested in making a difference to children and their families across Cheshire East. The Family Nurse Partnership covers the whole of the Cheshire East footprint; this role is primarily to cover the south locality (Crewe and Nantwich). This is a demanding yet rewarding role working at band 7 with vulnerable young clients and their children , delivering the Family Nurse Partnership programme.
Main duties of the job
Family Nurse
The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) is a national evidence-based, intensive home visiting programme delivered by Family Nurse case-holders who are trained to use a trauma informed approach to develop therapeutic relationships with young clients and their children. The Family Nurse recruits young parents , and works with them up until their first child is 2 years old. This is to improve their antenatal health, their child's health and development through sensitive and responsive parenting, and their own (and their partner's) economic self-sufficiency.
