We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Deputy Dispensary Manager to join our dynamic and progressive pharmacy team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated pharmacy technician who’s ready to support the management and continuous improvement of our dispensary service.

You’ll work closely with the Dispensary Manager, acting as their deputy, to lead a skilled team of pharmacy staff. Together, you’ll ensure our dispensary runs safely, efficiently, and continues to meet the evolving needs of our patients.

Main duties of the job

  • Support the day-to-day running of the dispensary, maintaining a safe, effective and patient-focused service.
  • Lead and inspire a team of pharmacy assistants and technicians.
  • Deputise for the Dispensary Manager in their absence.
  • Champion quality, innovation, and continuous improvement within the dispensary.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and smarter ways of working.
  • Contribute to the education and development of staff, creating an environment where everyone can thrive in an inclusive environment.
