Job overview

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated temporary Senior Orthopaedic Practitioner for 6 Months. We are looking for an individual to help carry are service forward along with the current staff. We currently have 15 Consultants and run a 24/7 trauma service with elective theatres running alongside these theatres, encompassing elective and Trauma, upper, lower limb, and spines. Main duties of the job

The role is demanding, and the right candidate will demonstrate the required professionalism and dedication to manage the combined requirements of the vacancy.

·      Work on varied caseload using technology and equipment.

·      Supervise, develop junior members of the team.

·      Be a role model to junior staff.

·      Deliver high quality care and experiences for patients which will be evidence based.

·      Experience in completing audits.

·      Excellent communication skills and great team worker, flexible and motivated.

·      Able to engage with colleagues at all levels.

·      Teaching students

·      Support senior colleagues.
